Basquiat King Portrait Scarf From The Lost Warhol Series

The Lost Warhol collection began with a photography session of the famous pop artist and his friends by by an NYU film student, Karen Bystedt, in 1982. The negatives, placed in storage for 30 years, were subsequently lost with only 10 found in 2011. These are the lost Warhols. Karen conceptualized incorporating the images as the artwork and working with prominent contemporary artists on mixed media collaborations with the photographs serving as beautiful canvases.
