Adult Studio: English Paper Piecing

No sewing machine, no problem. Long before home machines were prevalent, this straightforward hand sewing method uses two simple stitches to utilize precious fabric scraps into hexagonal quilt tops. In this three hour workshop, you will learn the techniques and methods brought over from early English settlers that are still used today. All materials provided. 

Jessica Kaufman earned her Masters degree in Craft Education, and teaches a wide variety of workshops in fibers and textiles, focusing mainly on dyeing, surface design, sewing, and knitting.
